Erber (1951) : Crai (2013-2016) \nQuesto concerto verterà su di un programma tutto british\, che propone un percorso nelle forme e negli stili più diversi dell’attuale scena compositiva internazionale. Dalla open form di James Saunders\, rappresentata da questa partitura scarna che lascia ampi margini di scelta agli interpreti\, alla composizione in stile minimalista ed evocativa di Christofer Fox\, fino alle opere appartenenti alla corrente della new complexity e scritte appositamente per il duo Antongirolami-Selva da James Erber e da Sam Hayden\, di cui verrà presentata una prima esecuzione assoluta. \nConcertista e docente presso l’Istituto Musicale Sammarinese\, Michele Selva è attento soprattutto agli sviluppi della musica del Novecento e contemporanea ha partecipato a diverse prime esecuzioni\, anche dedicate\, di fondamentali compositori italiani e internazionali\, tra le numerose collaborazioni ricordiamo quelle con S. Bussotti\, G. Cappelli\, A. Guarnieri\, L. de Pablo\, G. Pape. Tiene recital\, concerti e masterclass presso le più importanti istituzioni in Italia e in Europa\, quali\, tra gli altri Festival Angelica\, Emufest-Roma\, Eterotopie\, Biennale di Venezia\, Goldmisths University of London\, Trinity Laban College\, Oh-Ton Festival\, Goteborg Art Sound\, Forfest Festival\, Winter Festival. \nGianpaolo Antongirolami\, sassofonista di formazione accademica e titolare della cattedra di sassofono presso il Conservatorio di Perugia\, è dedicatario di numerose composizioni e costantemente invitato a suonare nei più rinomati festival specialistici quali Festival Synthese di Bourges\, CIM – Colloquio di Informatica Musicale (Firenze\, Udine\, Cagliari)\, Nachtstrom (Basilea)\, Exnovo Musica (Venezia)\, InterActions (Bangor – UK)\, ZKM (Karlsruhe – D)\, ecc. Suona in varie formazioni cameristiche collaborando con musicisti quali Terry Riley\, Butch Morris\, Stefano Scodanibbio\, Giancarlo Schiaffini\, Mike Svoboda\, Garth Knox\, Manuel Zurria\, Walter Prati\, Michele Lomuto\, Daniele Roccato\, Claudio Lugo\, Horacio Vaggione\, Alvise Vidolin. Ha eseguito oltre 80 prime esecuzioni assolute.
